Working together for wildlife.
Wildlife Aid International is a global nonprofit that strives to provide resources, expertise, and support to organizations that conserve wildlife. We exist to help dedicated teams feel equipped and empowered to protect wildlife and habitats, by providing access to the resources they need to thrive.
How we can help
Every wildlife conservation organization faces different challenges – we are here to help them.
Wildife Care and Conservation
We help organizations access and provide all kinds of supplies and equipment, such as uniforms for forest rangers, monitoring equipment for wildlife biologists, medical supplies etc. to improve animal care and the organizations' efforts.
Wildlife Medicine and Skills Transfer
Our network of wildlife veterinarians shares up-to-date medical knowledge, training, and techniques — both on-site and remotely.
Animal Care and Enrichment Practices
We facilitate collaboration between professionals and organizations around the world, encouraging the exchange of skills, experience, and resources to strengthen global in situ and ex situ wildlife conservation efforts.
Marketing, Fundraising and Financial Support
Our network of volunteer professionals assist wildlife conservation organizations in building visibility, developing fundraising strategies, and managing finances sustainably — so they can grow their mission with confidence.

About us
Building a better future through compassion
In 2010, two wildlife professionals — Dr. Michelle Barrows, a wildlife veterinarian, and Jeanne Marie Pittman, a wildlife veterinary nurse — were participating in wildlife-related training missions across Africa. They brought much needed supplies, shared knowledge, helped train trained staff , and even organized a free symposium on wildlife medicine for veterinarians from mid and low-income countries. Everywhere they went, a pattern became clear: dedicated people were doing their best for wildlife, but were often hindered by the lack of access to necessary resources, financial support, expertise, and equipment.
From this experience, the concept emerged: creating a mechanism to streamline and deliver vital resources directly to those who dedicate their lives to wildlife welfare and conservation. Veterinarians, animal care specialists, and other experts should be able to connect directly with sanctuaries, rescues, and projects that need them most.
Wildlife Aid International was founded to turn this vision into reality, serving as a dynamic bridge connecting global expertise and resources with local, under-resourced wildlife conservation efforts. The purpose was clear: to connect every project with the vital resources they require to continue their crucial work Because when people and projects come together, wildlife everywhere has a chance to thrive!
